How long will my project take? We typically can give you a pretty accurate estimate of how long your project will take from start to finish. With any home renovation project, we can run into unforeseen conditions and if the scope of work changes, it could affect the timeline. We are happy to talk openly with you about timing and expectations.

What prep work will happen prior to my project starting? There are a lot of design elements that will need to be ironed out prior to your project getting started. We will connect you with our preferred vendors for fixtures, tile, counter tops, cabinetry and more (depending on what your project requires). We will give you an idea of what we anticipate you will spend in the various categories in your proposal/contract. The decisions are in your hands!

How soon can you typically get started after a contract is signed? Our schedule is typically booked about 6 months in advance for larger scale renovations. For smaller projects such as custom built-in cabinets or a minor renovation, we may be able to fit that in much sooner. Reach out to us and we can advise on our current timelines.

What are the initial steps to working with Langlais Woodcrafting? After you reach out to us and tell us about your project we will follow up to schedule a time to meet in person. Once we get a chance to meet and go over your project ideas, next steps will be determined. If the project requires an architect or engineer we are happy to recommend our trusted industry partners who can assist you on the initial planning and design of your project. We will be able to price out your job after that step is taken. If the project does not require architect or engineer involvement, we will price out the project and send you a proposal right away. Once a proposal is accepted, a formal contract will be sent. At the time of contract signing we collect a deposit and place you on our schedule!
