Joe Langlais discovered a love for all things carpentry at a young age and has been following his passion ever since. Recruited from trade school, he spent his formative years (13 to be exact) working and learning alongside Tom Silva of Silva Brothers Construction, the lead contracting company behind the TV show 'This Old House'. In 2016, Joe branched off on his own and started Langlais Woodcrafting, where he faithfully serves his clients with his ever-growing skill set in general contracting as well as crafting unique woodworking pieces.
In 2019, Langlais Woodcrafting gained a trusted partner on the team, Emily Langlais. After many years of corporate HR experience, Emily shifted gears and came on board to support the needs of our team and clients as Project Manager. Working closely with all parties involved at every step of the project, Emily is a liaison between our vendors, sub contractors, and clients and strives to create a smooth process with a high level of communication and attention to detail.
Langlais Woodcrafting is a full-service general contracting company, working closely with homeowners from initial design and planning through the complete construction process. From internal renovations to new additions, we approach each project with the same enthusiasm and attention to detail to ensure customer visions are fulfilled.
"Joe was a great apprentice-turned-foreman during his years with Silva Brothers Construction. It's wonderful to see how he's built upon that experience and continues to impress with the quality of work he delivers. Joe is someone you can count on to get the job done right, and you really get a sense of how much he loves his work when you see his custom woodworking. He gifted a beautiful hand-made bowl to us that all our guests admire."
